The history of WPK Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG
The company is founded by Mr Horst Wilhelm, initially with a focus on toolmaking.
Mr Wilhelm acquires the 2,900m² property at Mermbacherstraße 7 in Radevormwald from the town of Radevormwald.
Completion of the new company building in Radevormwald.
The company WPK-Kunststofftechnik is founded on 20 December 1988 and is the legal successor to the sole proprietorship Horst Wilhelm, whose owner of the same name sells his company for reasons of age. In memory of the founder's achievements, the new shareholders of the company decide to name the new company Wilhelm Präzisionskunststofftechnik (WPK).
Contacts with Plastaform GmbH and Treuhand had already existed for some time and WPK Plastformtechnik GmbH was founded in 1991. WPK employs 34 people at this time.
In the summer, the injection moulding shop moves into new production and storage facilities.
The current Managing Director of WPK Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG begins his role in the management of the company.
The long-standing Managing Director of WPK passes away shortly after the company's anniversary in 2005.
WPK Plastformtechnik GmbH moves to the WPK Kunststofftechnik GmbH site in Radevormwald.
